Objective(s) of a study programme:

On the basis of achievements in international level fundamental and applied interdisciplinary science and technologies, to train master of business and administration with all-rounded education, ethically responsible, cultured and enterprising personality able to evaluate and predict national and international business area, creatively develop activities and business for leisure sector organizations, carry out applied research in tourism and sports sectors, and apply research findings in daily organizational activities and strategic problem solving.

Programme graduate will be able to:
- Creatively develop new ideas based on the reflection of accumulated scientific knowledge in research activities and practical work.
- Think analytically, systematically and critically and provide solutions to problems of varying degrees of complexity in unfamiliar in new situations.
- Constructively communicate with internal and external networks using the organizational ethics of and its procedural instruments.
- Integrate into groups of different cultures and values maintaining social relationships, seeking for cooperation and, to the extent possible, avoiding or managing conflicts.
- Discuss and defend their scientific position grounding it with available knowledge and the latest research to various interest groups.

- Apply managerial and economic theories for the analysis of sports and tourism sectors and related business entities, forecasting their evolution and development, planning and management.
- Evaluate the situation in the market and the company according to the specific business and market position of the company, develop and implement the most appropriate strategies.
- Develop an effective organizational culture and its creative development and implementation.
- Create a vision of the organization and its implementation planning through changes.
- Think analytically and evaluate the arguments presented in the analyses of the organization’s economic and financial problems and strategic decision–making.

- Plan and substantiate the preparation for expert-based consulting activities in the leisure sector.

The main subjects of the study field: Strategic Management II, Neuro-marketing, Business Markets and their Assessment, Economic and Financial Management, Social Research Methodology and Statistics, Policy and Management of Sports and Tourism, Final Thesis.

After completing Tourism and Sports Management degree program, graduates will be able to perform managerial, expert and consulting work in state (Department of Tourism, Sport and Physical Education Department, local tourism and physical education and sports departments, tourist information centres, sports training institutions), non-governmental (associations, unions, public agencies, sports federations, sports clubs) and private organizations (tour operators, travel agencies, accommodation establishments, fitness centres, sports clubs), and to teach and do research work in various universities as well as non-university educational institutions.
