Brand book
The LSU Brandbook is a set of guidelines to be followed for the LSU communication purposes. Adherence to these rules will ensure consistency and recognition of the LSU image.
Style and Representation
Logo
The idea behind the logo is to reflect the dynamic nature inherent to sport. The letter S in the LSU acronym stands pressing on, moving upwards and forward. The dynamic S is a modern extension of the former LSU logo. The main version of the logo is a horizontal, two-colour logo. The additional version of the logo (vertical) is used when the main logo is not suitable compositionally.

Typography
Tekstams naudojama Switzer Font Family is used for texts. Switzer Medium for subheadings and Switzer Regular for paragraphs.
Antraštėms naudojamas Media Sans Semi-Condensed Bold is used for headings (in uppercase and with minimal spacing between letters)..
Colours
The LSU main colour is red. It is complemented by red and grey shades to add brightness, contrast and variety to the design.

Generative ornament
Dynamic ornament – inspired by the structure of muscles is at the heart of the LSU visual identity. It expresses the idea that collaboration leads to the best results. The shapes of the ornament like body parts, members of the sports team or the university community form a unified network. The generative ornament can be solid (when the vertical segments are of the same width) or transitional (when the width of the vertical segments varies).
