Basketball is one of the most popular sports in the world and it is played in over 200 countries. Furthermore, it is the most popular sport in Lithuania with Kaunas considered one of the main basketball capitals in the world. Therefore, it seems fundamental the development of the scientific area „Modern technologies for basketball training“. Moreover, the mentioned-above scientific area perfectly fits within the main aims and goals of the Lithuanian Sports University, which is a leading-intensive research institution in Lithuania, mainly specialized in sports science and medicine research.
