Representatives of LSU got acquainted with global innovations in health sector

“Each coach should visit such an event, where breaking health, fitness and health industry innovation is displayed“, said LSU teacher Dr. Simona Pajaujienė. She shared her experience after the world's largest exhibition in the field of innovation FIBO, which takes place in Cologne (Germany) annualy. The teacher visited the exhibition together with the Chancellor of the University Mindaugas Balčiūnas and LSU teacher, the President of Lithuanian Sports and Fitness Clubs Association Aurimas Mačiukas.

  700 expositions were visited by 116,000 of people. “Training equipment with unstable surface, physiotherapy suits, exercise equipment for seniors, virtual coaches, physical parameter analyzers, various massage and rehabilitation tools, software to manage sports clubs and many more innovations, which could be tested, were presented at the exhibition. Though, there were few wellness solutions at a workplace. Interesting ideas for outdoor sports clubs made a big impression as they can be implemented in Lithuania as well. Different sports activities for seniors is a niche for future sports clubs“, said the Chancellor of LSU M. Balčiūnas.
