Prof. Hans Degens and Prof. Henning Budde were conferred a title of Honorary Doctor

   Manchester Metropolitan University Professor Hans Degens and MSH Medical School Hamburg Professor Henning Budde were awarded the Regalia and the title of LSU Honorary Doctor at a solemn meeting of the Senate of Lithuanian Sports University (LSU). The inauguration took place during the Graduation Ceremony in Kaunas Christ's Resurrection Basilica.

   Professor H. Degens has been cooperating with LSU for many years. He has supervised a doctoral thesis, published a number of articles in co-authorship with LSU scientists, managed PhD students’ internships at Manchester Metropolitan University and fostered shared scientific ideas with LSU researchers.

   Professor H. Budde consults LSU group of scientists “Technology of Personality Education through Sport”, gives lectures to LSU Master degree students, supervises a doctoral thesis and co-authors scientific articles together with LSU researchers.  

   According to LSU Vice-Rector for Research Prof. Arvydas Stasiulis, both professors have made a great contribution to the development of science and internationality at LSU.
