Prof. habil. dr. H. Budde shared his knowledge with LSU students

Professor habil. dr. Henning Budde from the Institute of Medicine in Hamburg (Germany) visited Lithuanian Sports University for the second time.

In 2015, prof. H. Budde attended LSU scientific seminar where he presented one of his most successful researches called “The effect of exercise on cognitive functioning in children and adolescents: a neuroendocrinological explanation”.

This time professor delivered a lecture for LSU graduate and undergraduate students.

 “During the lectures I try to convey information on the basis of scientific studies where we analyzing the benefits of physical activity for human mental health, cognitive functioning and psychological human being in general. A lot of attention is given to health and physical activity of school-age children. I hope that LSU student will understand the importance of the current health problems and will be able to solve these issues by using theoretical and practical knowledge”, – H. Budde said.

According to Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sports Assoc. dr. A. Emeljanovas: “It is glad that we have an opportunity to cooperate with famous German scientist prof. habil. dr. H. Budde. During his interesting lectures, students can gain the latest research-based knowledge that certainly will help them in their future work. In addition, this collaboration provides more scientific activity perspectives for all LSU community”.
