Over 500 specialists have graduated from Lithuanian Academy of Physical Education
Graduation ceremony to mark the official conferral of award certificates will be held at Lithuanian Academy of Physical Education. Over 500 students graduated from the Academy, according to the data of LAPE Study Control Centre: 394 students in first degree (full-time and part-time) and 125 students – in second degree study programmes.
Bachelor degree will be conferred to students of the following study programmes: Sports Coaching – 102, Tourism and Sport Management – 59, Physical Education – 57, Physiotherapy – 52, Social Pedagogy – 41, Health and Physical Activity – 36, Sports Recreation and Tourism-25, Educology – 10.
8 undergraduate degree study programmes will be offered for the next school year: Sports Coaching, Physiotherapy, Physical Education, Tourism and Sport Management, Health and Physical Activity, Adapted Physical Activity, Social Pedagogy, Sports Recreation and Tourism.
Students who have chosen studies at Lithuanian Academy of Physical Education will face significant changes: possibility to choose adjacent studies and become double Bachelor‘s degree holders in Social Pedagogy, Health and Physical Activity, Sport Coaching . Double Bachelor degree can be obtained in study programmes of Social Pedagogy (Bachelor of Pedagogy , Bachelor of Recreation and Leisure), Health and Physical Activity (Bachelor of Public Health, Bachelor of Sports), Sport Coaching ( Bachelor of Sports, Bachelor of Pedagogy). Since 2012 studies in Tourism and Sport Management study programme will be shortened from 4 to 3,5 years.
In almost eight decades over 15 thousand specialists have been trained at Lithuanian Academy of Physical Education: PE teachers, coaches, physiotherapists, managers of sport and tourism.
