LSU is to cooperate with Gdansk University of Physical Education and Sport

   LSU Vice-Rector for Research Prof. Arvydas Stasiulis and the Director of the Institute of Sport Science and Innovations Prof. Sigitas Kamandulis paid a visit to Gdansk University of Physical Education and Sport (Poland).

   The representatives of LSU met with Prof. Waldemar Moska, the Rector of Gdansk University of Physical Education and Sport and Vice-Rector for Research Prof. Władysław Jagiełło. A visit to sports centres and scientific laboratories gave an opportunity to familiarize with research infrastructure and discuss the opportunities for joint research with local scientists. The heads of Gdansk University of Physical Education and Sport are coming to LSU at the end of April to sign a cooperation agreement between the universities. Gdansk University of Physical Education and Sport possesses modern facilities and equipment to conduct research in Molecular Physiology, Physical Exercise and Sports Physiology, which opens up the possibilities of cooperation in joint research and organization of internships for scientists and doctoral students.
