LSU international project presented in the conference of the Ministry of Education and Science in Vilnius

   On 19—20 May, the Ministry of Education and Science organized a conference “Modern School: Diversity and New Opportunities” under the European Economic Area (EEA) Financial Mechanism “EEA Scholarship Programme”. The Minister of Education and Science Audronė Pitrėnienė, the Ambassador of Norway to Lithuania Dag Malmer Halvorsen, the Director of the Public Institution Central Project Management Agency Lidija Kašubienė, “EEA Scholarship Programme” project promoters, teachers and education experts attended the conference opening event.

   During the event, Prof. Dr. Rasa Jankauskienė, Lithuanian Sports University (LSU) Vice-Rector for Studies currently deputizing for the University Rector Dr. Aivaras Ratkevičius, signed the agreement of the project “Modernisation of Pre-school and Primary Education Content and Teachers' Professional Development through Introduction of Physical Fitness Testing Methodology” with the Ministry of Education and Science. At the conference, project manager Prof. Dr. Arūnas Emeljanovas made a presentation on the international project carried out by LSU.
