LSU hosted an international meeting of PAL consortium

An international consortium meeting of the EU universities’ project “European Bachelor in Physical Activity and Lifestyle Counselling” took place at LSU. During the meeting, the current situation of the study programme was analyzed, study process improvement and optimization opportunities of the programme “European Bachelor of Physical Activity and Lifestyle” were discussed. The participants of the meeting considered international mobility of students and teachers and adjusted the draft for student and teacher exchange for the academic year of 2015—2016. It was decided to create a common information platform of the consortium and develop a detailed programme communication plan; further development and cooperation in attracting new university partners were discussed. The representatives of foreign universities met with the first year LSU students of the study programme “European Bachelor of Physical Activity and Lifestyle”, told them about the studies at their universities and got acquainted with the infrastructure of LSU.

    “I am pleased that our university has been entrusted with organizing the third international consortium meeting of the EU universities’ project “European Bachelor in Physical Activity and Lifestyle Counselling”. Not only the current situation of the study programme was discussed, but also important strategic decisions on further development of the consortium were made”, said Vaiva Balčiūnienė, the director of the study programme “European Bachelor of Physical Activity and Lifestyle”.
