A delegation from Nippon Sport Science University (Japan) paid a visit to LSU

  The Chairman of the Board of Directors Kenshiro Matsunami and the Director of the International Centre Tatsuo Araki from Nippon Sport Science University (Japan) visited LSU. The guests presented the university study programmes, sports facilities, sports activities and research laboratories. LSU basketball and handball specializations were of the most interest to the guests. Therefore, they are planning to send sports teachers and students from Nippon Sport Science University to improve their professional qualification at our university. The delegation was interested in the research conducted by LSU scientists as well. The guests offered short two-week internships for students to get acquainted with martial arts and attend workshops.

  The representatives from Nippon Sport Science University visited LSU scientific laboratories, got acquainted with the infrastructure and showed interest in the project of Erasmus + 107 activities, which has been designed for cooperation with non-EU countries.

  This year, Nippon Sport Science University celebrated 125th anniversary. It has a long tradition of athlete training and seeks to promote public health as well as physical activity and sport. The university has educated a number of the world and Olympic champions; it offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral study programmes, which are similar to those at LSU.
