Lithuanian Sports University (LSU) alumni are creating innovations that are gaining recognition not only in Lithuania, but also abroad.
LSU is launching a collaboration with Mobeta Ltd., led by the University’s alumnus Sigitas Kavaliauskas. He is the creator of “ProPusher,” an innovative app designed for coaches, physiotherapists, and everyone who enjoys movement.
The app developed by S. Kavaliauskas aims to provide more clarity, structure, and flexibility for professionals in their daily work. By using an organized web-based dashboard and a synchronized mobile app, the platform connects the creative work process with tracking athletes’ progress.
During a meeting with LSU Rector Diana Rėklaitienė, the parties discussed possible ways for LSU researchers to get involved in further developing the app. It was noted that “ProPusher” could be useful not only for coaches working with athletes of various ages, but also for physical education teachers who seek to increase students’ engagement in physical activities and strengthen their physical literacy.
This partnership marks another step in strengthening ties between science, practice, and innovation, creating added value for both sports professionals and the academic community.
LSU alumnus S. Kavaliauskas is a long-time strength and conditioning coach for Kaunas “Žalgiris” and Lithuanian national basketball teams across different age groups. He currently works for the EuroLeague club AS Monaco.
