KEYNOTE SPEECHES

10.10–11.00 Prof. Dr. Aivaras Ratkevičius, 

Professor at the Department of Health Promotion and Rehabilitation. Head of the Lithuanian Sports University (LSU) research group “Molecules in Sport and Nutrition”. Has 27 years of scientific and pedagogical experience. He has worked at the universities of Copenhagen (Denmark), Sunderland (UK), Aberdeen (UK), and Queen Mary University of London (UK). At LSU, a lecturer of Molecular Biology in Sports and Nutrition for second-cycle students. Supervises doctoral students, publishes scientific articles in foreign scientific journals.

11.10–12.00 Prof. Dr. Tomas Venckūnas, 

Senior researcher at the Institute of Sport Science and Innovations, professor at the Department of Health Promotion and Rehabilitation. For more than 20 years, a researcher of adaptation to high-intensity training, and a lecturer of Exercise Physiology and Genetics at Lithuanian Sports University (LSU). He supervises doctoral students, publishes scientific articles in prestigious foreign scientific journals, and has authored more than one hundred scientific publications. T. Venckūnas is involved in regular evaluation of high-performance athletes.

12.10–13.00  Mindaugas Jasulaitis

Mindaugas Jasulaitis is a doctoral candidate in the Physical and Social Education doctoral programme at the Lithuanian Sports University and a practicing psychiatrist. His research focuses on how the constant flow of digital stimuli, anxiety, and emotional exhaustion affect a young person’s ability to focus and learn, both in the classroom and during training. In his clinical work, he treats addictions, anxiety disorders, and burnout. He also speaks publicly about mental health in educational settings.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ABSTRACTS

Scientific Abstracts should be structured using the following sections:

– Introduction,
– Aim,
– Research Methods and Organisation,
– Results,
– Conclusions,
– References.

For an Abstract to enter the review process and be considered for presentation during the conference, the following guidelines must be adhered to:

The volume of abstracts – up to 2 A4 page. The text should be typed in MS Word, interval 1, Times New Roman typeface 10 pt font. The title should be capitalized and in bold; the first letter of the author’s/ authors’ name/ names and surname/ surnames should be printed in bold below, followed by the name of the educational institution represented by the author/ authors in italics. The title, author/ authors, and the name of the educational institution should be aligned left. The text should be fully justified. Margins: top, bottom, left and right – 2 cm. (e-abstracts layout).

Abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings, bearing the International Standard Serial Number eISSN 2538-7952, and posted on the LSU online repository. Abstracts submitted in a non-compliant form will not be published.

Deadline of submission of the Abstracts is 24/11/2025 (inclusive).

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION OF SCIENTIFIC ARTICLES

Each eligible article (written in Lithuanian or English) may be published in one of LSU’s publications: journal “Baltic Journal of Sport and Health Sciences”, journal “Reabilitacijos mokslai: slauga, kineziterapija, ergoterapija” (ENG. Rehabilitation Sciences: Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy; indexed in Scopus and other academic indexes) or in the collection of scientific articles “Sportinį darbingumą lemiantys veiksniai“ (ENG. Factors Influencing Sport Performance).

Articles must be prepared in accordance with the requirements for scientific articles in the relevant publication (“Baltic Journal of Sport and Health Sciences” guidelines: https://journals.lsu.lt/baltic-journal-of-sport-health/about/submissions#authorGuidelines; “Rehabilitation Sciences: Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy” guidelines: https://journals.lsu.lt/reabilitacijos-mokslai/about/submissions). Articles not complying with the requirements will not be published.

The papers published in the collection of scientific articles “Sportinį darbingumą lemiantys veiksniai” are hosted on the LSU e-Repository http://dspace.lsu.lt/. The collection of scientific articles has an International Standard Serial Number eISSN 2538-7944.

Time limits:
Presentations – 10 min.
Discussions – 5 min.
