LSU and the University of Split are going to develop joint study programmes
The Dean of the Faculty of Kinesiology of the University of Split Prof. Dr. Đurđica Miletić and Vice-Dean for Studies Prof. Dr. Jelena Paušić visited Lithuanian Sports University.
During the visit, Prof. Dr. Đurđica Miletić and Prof. Dr. Jelena Paušić met with the Rector of the University Dr. Aivaras Ratkevičius and Vice-Rector for Research Prof. Dr. Arvydas Stasiulis, who approved the development of a new joint doctoral programme on the basis of a cooperation agreement signed in 2015.
During the meeting with the Dean of the Faculty of Sport Biomedicine Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nerijus Masiulis and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Irena Valantinė, working at the Department of Sport Management, Economics and Sociology, the stages of a new international joint Master degree programme development were discussed.
The two universities have submitted applications under Horizon 2020 and Erasmus+ programmes.
Prof. Dr. Đurđica Miletić participated in an international 28th ICPAFR Symposium hosted by LSU and presented a report “Measurement of Motor Knowledge in Kinesiology”.
Under the Erasmus+ mobility exchange programme, LSU collaborates with the University of Zagreb and the University of Split (Croatia), the only state universities delivering studies, related to sport.
