Phases for the defense procedure of the Bachelor final thesis
I cycle (Bachelor’s degree)
1. The approbation of the final thesis
The final thesis in PDF format must be submitted in the e-learning system from on 22nd of April at 23 :59, 2026.
Cover of the final work containing the name and the signature of the student, the name and the signature of the supervising professor (scanned) must be sent by email to baigiamieji@lsu.lt to Studies Division by (information will be provided).
Approbation of the final thesis will be held on April 29-30, 2026.

2. The defense of the final thesis
The final thesis in PDF format must be submitted to the e-learning system by May 8th at 13:00, 2026.
Supervisor (that final thesis can be defended) and Student (that final thesis can have been prepared independently and in correct English) should send confirmation letter by email baigiamieji@lsu.lt to LSU Studies Division by (information will be provided).

3. Portfolio
PROCEDURE ON ENHANCEMENT OF STUDENT REFLECTION AND COMPILATION OF A STUDENT PORTFOLIO
Portfolio in PDF format must be submitted in e-learning system by May 11, 23:59, 2026.

Only students with no debts from the university (academic and financial) can defend their work. All parts of the final evaluation in the module “Final thesis” (evaluation from supervisor, evaluation from reviewer and evaluation of self-analysis-based portfolios) must be evaluated for 5 (weak) or more.
The final thesis must be presented on time. Students who will not present the final thesis on time will not be allowed to participate in the defence.

Academic debts must be eliminated by May 19th, 2026. Only Students with no financial debts from the university (dormitory, library, studies division, financial department) or academic fails will be allowed to defend their Final thesis.
The graduation ceremony will be held on June 23th, 2026.
