Opportunity for future wellness trainers to acquire the international EREPS certificate at LSU

It is pleasing that the Lithuanian Sports University (LSU), which joined the European Register of Exercise Professionals (EREPS) a year ago, has been granted a two-year extension of its accreditation.

The register is closely linked to the EuropeActive Standards Council, whose mission is to develop, publicize and implement European standards for exercise professionals at different qualification levels and specializations.

We are currently the only University in Lithuania to join EREPS. LSU offers training and development courses for personal trainers (EREPS level 4), which, upon completion and successful completion of the exam, legally issue the European Fitness Certificate and allow you to register with EREPS. This opens up a wide range of job opportunities for professionals in European countries.

Students of the Excercise, Nutrition and Stress Management programme at our University, future wellness coaches pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Sport, also have the opportunity to obtain the EREPS certificate.

Membership of EREPS encourages LSU to improve its professional competencies and to remain a leader in training professionals for the wellness sector.

EREPS is an independent registration system for instructors, trainers, and exercise professionals working in the European wellness sector. Registration in this system indicates that the wellness professional follows the established minimum European standards and code of good practice and is committed to improving the quality of their work through continuous professional development, thus enhancing the professionalism of the European wellness sector. EREPS members are also required to comply with all specific laws and requirements of the country in which they work.
