LSU faculties received excellent international assessment

I would like to rejoice over the recognition of Lithuanian Sports University. Academic achievements have been assessed by independent international experts. Research internationality level at different institutions (faculties, centres, institutes, etc.) was assessed comparing it with the highest standards of European academic institutions. Scientific activities of the Faculty of Sport Biomedicine were rated as "strong international level”, and the Faculty of Sport Education was rated as “strong national level with marked international level”.

 We are very glad that our Faculty of Sport Biomedicine has been appreciated and ranked among top five Lithuanian universities-institutions (the Faculty of Medicine, Vilnius University, to be mentioned among them), and the Faculty of Sport Education – among the best institutions of Social Sciences. It can be said that both faculties of Lithuanian Sports University are among the leaders of Lithuanian science – something that has never happened before!

  I would like to congratulate the community of the University on significant achievement and I am very happy that we are doing great work in the field of science, and that we are distinctly visible in international arena. I hope this is not a momentary spark and we will raise the bar in international science.

I would like to thank the whole community for the great and sincere work and efforts to achieve the highest international academic standards.
