Lina Vaisetaitė

She obtained a master’s degree in psychology, speciality in clinical psychology. Since 2008 Lina Vaisetaite – olympic programes manager at the National Olympic Committee of Lithuania. She is also a clinical psychology master, who has more than ten years of sport psychology counselling experience. Her clients are athletes of various skill levels, representing different individual sports. In her counselling work she uses mindfulness approach together with traditional psychological skills training.

Dr. Luca Milanovic

He is Head of Sport Kinesiology Department and Associate Professor of Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Zagreb. Luca also is working at UEFA – Coaching Education at Croatian Football Federation as Lecturer/Professor, Football Science Institute and Biotrening. Dr. Luka Milanovic is a head strength and conditioning coach at Croatian Football Federation and silver medalist at 2018 World Cup. He has published 69 scientific and professional papers, mostly researching conditioning characteristics and effects of programmed training.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vassilis Barkoukis

Vassilis Barkoukis is an Associate professor at the Department of Physical Education and Sport Science of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He has published over 150 national (Greek) and international articles and book chapters and served as the lead editor of the first book on the Psychology of Doping in Sport (Routledge). V. Barkoukis has participated in 6 WADA- 3 IOC- and 20 EU-funded projects aiming to develop anti-doping and health-enhancing physical activity promotion educational tools. His research interests involve the application of social cognitive models in physical education, sport and physical activity. His research on doping involves the investigation of social cognitive approaches and the development of integrative models in better understanding doping behavior and the integration of this information in the development of effective anti-doping prevention interventions.

Dr. Dalia Malkova

Dr. Dalia Malkova is Senior Lecturer at School of Medicine, Dentistry &Nursing College of Medical Veterinary and Life Sciences University of Glasgow. Her Teaching Experience is 30 years. Her research interests are about interaction between physical activity cardiovascular risk factors and gut micro biota; biological and behavioural predictors of body weight loss and reduced body weight maintenance; interaction between exercise and macronutrient composition of diet; impact of exercise, dietary supplements and diets applied in clinical practice on of energy balance and appetite regulation; dietary habits, physical fitness and body composition of athletes and clinical populations; bioavailability of flavanones from orange juice: impact of physical activity and training status.

Prof. Henning Wackerhage

Henning Wackerhage is Professor of Sports Biology from the Technical University of Munich (Germany). He leads a laboratory that studies molecular and genetic factors that are important in improving athletes ’performance and people’s physical ability. Henning Wackerhage graduated from Cologne Sports University, where he also earned a doctorate. Then he worked more than 20 years in research and teaching at the Universities of the United Kingdom, Central Lancashire, Dundee and Aberdeen. Prof. Henning Wackerhage has published more than 50 articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Antonino Bianco

He is ERASMUS coordinator of the School of Sports Science, University of Palermo. In November 2019, he becomes Associate Professor at Department of Psychology, Educational Science and Human Movement, University of Palermo. A. Bianco is lecturer of Strength and Conditioning; Health & Fitness and Exercise Physiology at University of Palermo. He published 105 Peer-Reviewed Research Papers and 150 Proceedings and participated as Speaker and Keynote Speaker at National invited presentations and International invited presentation. His principal research activities can be summarized into 3 main themes:

  • Fitness activities: development and validation of specific resistance training programs;
  • Epidemiological studies: public health and fitness activities;
  • Exercise physiology: monitoring of physiological parameters and biomarkers in sport teams and in fitness activities.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arvaja Markus

He is senior lecturer in Haaga-helia University of Applied Sciences (Finland) at the Degree Program in Sports Coaching and Management. His main areas of responsibility are sport psychology and coaching studies. Markus is mental coach for Finland Women’s Ice hockey National team and Finland Tennis junior national teams. He has also worked as a mental coach with various national team level athletes in different sports. Furthermore, Markus is the Board member of the Finnish sport psychology association.

Requirements for abstracts

Abstracts should be written in Lithuanian or English and contain clearly stated introduction,  aim of the work, research methods and organization, discussion of the results obtained, conclusions and references. The volume of abstracts up to 2 A4 pages. The text should be typed in MS Word, interval 1, Times New Roman typeface 10 pt font. The title should be capitalized and in bold; the first letter of the author’s/ authors’ name/ names and surname/ surnames should be printed in bold below, followed by the name of the educational institution represented by the author/ authors in italics. The title, author/ authors, and the name of the educational institution should be aligned left. The text should be fully justified. Margins: top, bottom, left and right – 2 cm. (e-abstracts layout)

Abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings, bearing the International Standard Serial Number eISSN 2538-7952, and posted on the LSU online repository. Abstracts submitted in a non-compliant form will not be published.

Requirements for scientific articles

Articles will be published in a collection of scientific articles “Sportinį darbingumą lemiantys veiksniai,” and will be posted on the LSU online repository. The collection of articles has the International Standard Serial Number eISSN 2538-7944.

The submitted articles (in Lithuanian or English) should be prepared according to the requirements for scientific articles of the Baltic Journal of Sports & Health Sciences (https://www.lsu.lt/mokslas/mokslo-rezultatai-ir-ju-viesinimas/mokslo-leidiniai/zurnalas-baltic-journal-sport-health-sciences/ )
Non-compliant articles will not be published.
