The mass Walmark walking competition will be held in Kaunas on September 22nd, 2018 and will start at 12:00.
This is the first mass walking competition in Lithuania. The aim of this initiative is to promote physical activity in society, at least 15 minutes of daily movement. Walking is one of the most useful and natural activities. This is the reason why people of different age are invited to participate in this competition. Walking is the best way to be with our relatives and friends, also to stay healthy.
The goal of the participants is to walk 15 000 steps (10.5 km). It is planned to travel along the Kaunas Zoo, the Nemunas island and many other beautiful places. All the participants in this competition will be the winners. After reaching the finish, the walkers will be awarded by a wooden hand-made medal.
