Protective measures against COVID-19 during the period of in-class studies

During the academic year of 2021-2022, in-class activities in higher education and continuing vocational training can only be accessed by people who have been vaccinated against COVID-19, who have recovered from the disease, or whose PCR test result is negative, and the test was taken during the last 48 hours (from the moment of sampling).

Until October 15, free PCR testing will be available to students of higher education institutions who got the first jab (if the complete vaccination schedule consists of two doses of vaccine) or have been fully vaccinated (when the entry into force of the Opportunity Passport is still pending).

Protective measures:

1) It is recommended to wear face masks indoors and to keep a distance of 2 meters if the nature of the activity allows it;

2) The premises must be ventilated and disinfected. If equipment is used for the training sessions, it must be cleaned and disinfected after each use;

3) Hand hygiene and disinfection must be ensured;

4) Conditions to take the temperature of the employees and students must be ensured.

Persons with signs of acute upper respiratory infections (e.g., fever, cough, difficulty breathing, etc.) must not take part in in-class activities. They must leave the training site immediately. It is recommended that such persons be tested for COVID-19 by registering with the Coronavirus Hotline, tel. 1808 or at www.1808.lt.
