LSU will implement the “UPinLT” project aimed at the internships for foreign students

The Education Exchange Support Foundation is implementing the project “Foreign Practices in Lithuania Program – UpinLT” aimed to support talented foreign students and graduates for successful integration into the Lithuanian job market. The “UPinLT” project started on December 1, 2023 and will end no later than August 31, 2024. Lithuanian Sports University (LSU) has been awarded EUR 13.000,00 in order to provide 10 scholarships for foreign students to undertake their internships in companies and organisations operating in Lithuania.

The additional internship can be selected as an additional study module and can be carried out during free time from studies. The duration of internships must be at least 20 hours per week for two consecutive months.

In total, 28 foreign students from LSU have applied for the additional internship scholarships. The selection of students will be carried out based on the following criteria:

  • Academic performance (arithmetic average of the grades of the last two semesters);
  • Motivation;
  • Lithuanian language proficiency.

Social, scientific, study programme-related activities, mentoring may be additionally taken into consideration.
