LSU has joined the European Register of Exercise Professional

Lithuanian Sports University (LSU) has signed a formal agreement and joined the European Register of Exercise Professionals (EREPS). The Register is closely linked to the EuropeActive Standards Committee, whose mission is to develop, promote and implement European standards for exercise professionals of all levels and specializations. EREPS is an independent register of instructors, trainers and teachers working in the European fitness sector. Registration in the system shows that the fitness professional complies with the established minimum European standards and code of good practice and is committed to improving the quality of their work by constantly improving professional qualifications and thus strengthening the professionalism of the European fitness sector. In addition, EREPS members must comply with all the specific laws and requirements of the country in which they work.

LSU provides training and professional development courses for personal trainers (EREPS level 4), upon completion of which the European Fitness Certificates are legally issued and the opportunity to register with EREPS is granted. For professionals, this opens up wider employment opportunities in European countries.

We are currently the only university in Lithuania that has joined EREPS. We are pleased that this membership will encourage us to continuously improve our professional competencies and remain a leader in training professionals for the fitness sector.
