The project’s aim to promote and increase the participation of the female gender in youth sport is gaining momentum and the activities are building on each other. Sports centres have been set up, female coaches have been selected and will soon receive training and share their experience with other female coaches. The project coordinator, Leeds Beckett University (UK), have produced a video to visually illustrate the project’s objectives to increase physical activity and participation in sport among girls in primary schools who are not involved in sport or were not active sportwomen.
