4th International Week at LSU brought together foreign teachers of various areas of sport science

Lithuanian Sports University (LSU) hosted the 4th International Week with 21 foreign teachers from Estonia, Israel, the United Kingdom, Kazakhstan, China, Croatia, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, Finland, Turkey and Germany.

This initiative, which has already become a tradition, aims to increase the internationalization of the University studies by inviting teachers, scientists and practitioners from foreign partner institutions to share their scientific knowledge, innovations and experiences with students through lectures, seminars and exercises.

This International Week was dedicated to the Centennial of the restored Lithuania. To celebrate this memorable occasion, a short film “100 Faces – 100 Stories” (“100 veidų – 100 istorijų”) was presented during the opening of the event for foreign guests, introducing the history of the University and sport in Lithuania, as well as the personalities who created and developed the University activities.

During the International Week, LSU students were invited to attend the International Partner Fair to familiarize with academic mobility opportunities at foreign universities under Erasmus + and other programmes. During the event, participants of the International Week together with visiting foreign students introduced their universities and advised LSU students on study and living conditions, and discussed the plans for further co-operation with LSU teaching staff members and scientists.
