Two LSU students are to participate in the 2018 Winter Olympics

The XXIII Olympic Winter Games are scheduled to take place from 9 to 25 February 2018 in Pyeongchang County, South Korea. All in all, about 3,000 athletes from 95 countries will compete for 102 sets of medals.

Nine athletes will represent Lithuania at the Winter Olympics: four biathletes, three cross-country skiers and two alpine skiers with two LSU students among them: Vytautas Strolia, a student of Sports Coaching study programme (coaches – Meelis Aasmae (Estonia) and a shooting coach Ruslanas Nikitinas) and a student of Physiotherapy study programme Ieva Januškevičiūtė (coaches – Saulius Januškevičius and Nicola Paulon).
